Answer #4

I am very open and "out", and, thankfully, I've never had an issue with any of the parents of my kid's friends (knock wood!).

In fact, two of her closest friend's moms are also two of my closest friends who's families just happen to be Catholic.  They've been wonderfully accepting of me and my beliefs (and the lovely Mrs. Coffee has supplied me with witchy shirts, voodoo dolls from New Orleans, and supplied giveaways for the 31 Days of Halloween!).

I don't think anyone in my neighborhood could mistake me for anything but Pagan, given my tattoos and the Witch Mobile, lol.

I think part of this (besides just having awesome friends, lol!) is living in an area that's close to a city - people are pretty accepting of differences and choices for the most part.  I know that I'm really lucky to be able to live openly like I do.

Thank you!! I'm so glad you are able to live as who you are. And I really appreciate you answering my question :) This is really fun reading these!

I also think times are a changin...people are becoming more accepting of the diversity of beliefs, and it's wonderful.

I definitely see the change and love it. But I still struggle with being comfortable with being completely out and open...time will tell thanks for posting :-)
