Answer #6

My oldest asks the occasion question about it.  I don't think he's much interested in any religion at the moment, though.

My middle son is oblivious for the most part.

(Neither forget that they might get an extra present on Yule, though, lol!)

Miss M., my daughter,  definitely shows a lot of interest.  I haven't raised my kids as Pagans, because I want them to come to a spiritual path like I did, finding, when they are ready, the right path for themselves (just my thing :O)  Miss M. asks a lot of questions, and when she shows an interest, I dig out the appropriate books, tell her stories, show her how to do whatever.  She's set up altars in her room on occasion to petition for things (most often: snow days).    She knows the general info on the sabbats and such.

I have to admit, I love her interest, and hope that as she gets older, she chooses a similar path so we can do more things together!

:-) we've raised our daughters the same way to come to the path that is right for them on their own though they do often participate and have tendencies probably from being around me :-)

Autumn also shows an interest, but I never force anything on her. Just explain things as well as I can and keep my fingers crossed. LOL

I'm like you, I want them to find their own paths...and if it doesn't match up with mine, that's okay too.

Parker...he's oblivious. :)

For now my 18month old loves candles (and trying to blow them out) lol, but that's about it!

I'd love her to show interest, but we'll see...

With all of my artsy-eclectic friends, my kids have been so exposed to all faiths. That and the fact that the in-laws of Southern Baptists. But since I was raised in the more Celtic branch of Paganism my kids had no choice but be raised as I was. To date, 4 out of 5 are either following or interested(the 14 yo but then she is still in her 'Charmed' phase) in my path. The 17 yo is a high functioning autistic and has struggles just dealing with daily living. So I don't believe religion of any kind will be an issue with her.
