Here's the left side:

And the right:

(I can't for the life of me figure out why the wall came out so different in each shot, lol! Must be the way the light is coming at an angle through the window.)
Here is a bit of the plate shelf:

Hmmm, I wonder what the plates could be spelling out?

I tried to get a shot of the whole thing, but to get far enough back to get everything in the shot puts the hanging light over my table in the picture. The best I could get was:

GHOS. Very spooky, lol!
I got the idea for the plates from the Michael Mead Halloween magazine. You can do something similar by just printing out a set of letters and/or eyes and using double stick tape to attach them to your plates!

Still love your decorating tips! Pickled eyes? Where did you get those?
Very cool! And those pickled eyes? OMG, they rock and are super gross, I love it.
Thank you so much for including me. I really hope my stuff is good enough. I will probably be popping it into the mail on Monday.
Taking all those pics is rough! I took some pics of mine before I packaged them up, let me know if you want me to email them to you so you don't have to photograph them. That's a ton of work!
Mmmmm . . . pickled eyes!
LOL, the eye balls and jar came from Target. It says to put water in the jar. It actually has a motor in the lid that blows the water and makes the eyeballs move around! I just put a little green and red food coloring in the jar to add the extra "yuck" factor!
I love all your "eye" tips for decorating! Spooky and cool!
Your decorations should be in a magazine! I love the display of plates! And those eyeballs! *lol*
Great idea!!
Happy Autumn!
Wow the pickled eyes are AWESOME! And the plates are not only spooky, but I think they are elegant too! ;) I love your decorating!! :D
I love the latest in deco. I am wanting to decorate but hubby has asked that we wait until Oct 1....dam party pooper! So I am holding out, I will probably start at 12:01 am lol.
Thanks for all the kind words! The plates were, truly, just a way to get another decoration in without having to spend any money, lol! These are all the saucers and bread plates from my everyday dishes, with letters and eyes printed from the computer and stuck on with double sided tape. Easy-peasy and the only expenditure was the paper and ink to print!
Man, that's some cool decorating! I wish I had the eye (or motivation) for decorating that you do!
