We had a such a great unplanned family night last night! Bill and I were listening to music on the computer, drinking wine, Miss M and Mr. J were playing punch out on the Wii (lol) and Mr. C. was using my laptop at the dining room table. If you've seen how small the front part of my house is, you can almost reach out and poke people from the living room to the dining room, lol, so though we weren't all doing the same thing, we were all together in one space. For a family with a teen and two tweens, that is a rare thing to happen naturally anymore.
Mr. B is off today. He let me sleep late and did breakfast! Looks like it's going to be a pretty good day! Now if the sky only clears up....

Sounds as though you had a wonderful night and today shows promise as well being able to sleep late and Mr. B doing breakfast. How lucky you are.
That is a wonderful evening! My youngest wanted to practice driving so we did that all afternoon then after he went out my oldest, his gf and their son came over, oh and my parents were here in the morning! LOL seems like yesterday was also my unplanned family day. but I brought home the breakfast for the kid and I, sadly lol
Sound like a perfect night. I wish you many many more.
Sometimes together separately is nice. Every once in a while we'll all put on our jammies and lay around reading our respective books. It's kind of nice.
Sounds like a mighty fine man you have there, cooking breakfast and all! :-)
oh yes I understand the teens/tweens in one house. Sounds wonderful! :-)
Sounds nice. We do that on Sundays a lot. Jeff is watching NASCAR and Daniel and I are reading books.
Happy Lughnasad! Hope the rest of your weekend is as peaceful.
Family nights are nice. I think we have them a little too often at my house... but that's from my point of view. I'm a teenager so I do get annoyed by being around my family all the time. xD
I hope the sky cleared up for you. It rained here! At least it keeps the humidity away.
Sleep in AND breakfast made? SOOO jealous!!!
Sounds like a Wonderful Night!
What a Lucky Woman you are.. getting to sleep in! You have a Very Nice husband that would do that for you on His Day Off!!

How awesome is that!
We had a last minute family night too with cousins. It's cute to see them getting older, but still going back to pretend play some times
How nice of Mr. B!
Just wanted you to know I have your blog listed in my blogroll at http://thedomesticwitch.blogspot.com/ Thanks for following me!
It sounds like a perfect evening.
I remember when my son was a teenager, we would have to make a date just to spend time together. Ah life gets going in so many directions.
