OMG!!! I worry that my cat tigger will figure out the facets while I am gone at work and flood the house!!! He is always watching me and pushing on the facet handles. Luckily, he has not pushed hard enough yet!!!
my kittie does the same thing!!! i even bought her a continuous flow drinking bowl/fountain and she STILL likes the sink best. i have no idea how she manipulates her little paws like that but she does!!!
My cat opens the toaster over and steals toast without burning herself AND figured out how to unlock baby locks on the cupboards. We don't have a baby - they were solely for the cat. She may get into things, but we're kept highly entertained! Stopped by from SITS :)
Ah, my kitty managed to knock over a turned-off lamp, get the shade off of it, turn it on, and burn a big hole in the carpet! What a great kitty. She's now working on our refinishing project of ripping up the rest of the carpet in that same room (because, hey, we'll have to recarpet in there at some point given the big charred hole and all). She's very cute :)
Anyone who tells you that cats do not understand the concept of doorknobs and faucet knobs has not lived with a cat. They know that if they can somehow turn it, doors open and water flows. I have watched one of my cats work on a doorknob for thirty minutes trying to get it to turn.
It is cat magic. My cat a long time ago would step on the answering machine button and record her voice when people left a message. So my next caller would get meo meo.
I do not think that mine have figured out that they *could* turn the water on themselves, luckily! My cats do not like water from the bowl either... fresh tap water is their choice.

That cute, sweet, silly *and* resourceful Tanner! We just love her.
(BTW - I *am* working on a one-eyed kitty ... I hope your patience endures!)

Growing up we had a cat (my mom's) that would ONLY drink from bathtub faucet :-)

OMG!!! That is a good question!
Tanner is ABSOLUTELY adorable! Beautiful cat you got there!
Silly Tanner. xD
My cat opens doors, pushing a faucet handle is only a step away. Plus I think you have a genius cat.
Little kids and Animals, crack me up!

That is one hyperactive cat!
One of our indoor kitties does this, too. We got a new tap for the kitchen -- the kind you only have to flip up a single lever.
It took him mere minutes to figure it out. He hasn't drunk from the kitty water bowl since.

Gotta love Tanner!
Ha ha, made me smile.

That's some cat you got!!
Heehee. Our cats wait in the tub for when we turn the water on for a shower. :) Weirdos!
Only a matter of time before she starts using the toilet! Oh! Your little girl is growing up! *^_^*
