Pagan Horde Delay!

Do to the insanity of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off (that really is sort of creepy saying, isn't it?) to get last minute school issues handled, the Angry Pagan Horde invasion will be delayed. I'm sure you are crushed, lol!

In other news, though, I managed to pick up not only the awesome Matthew Mead Halloween Magazine, but also the Family Fun Halloween edition. Still no Martha, though.

If you are going to spend some cash on a magazine, I can highly recommend the Matthew Mead one, though. This is my second year in a row buying it, and I've been thrilled to death each time. There's a ton of crafts and recipes - including some that are really super quick and super easy (like covering a chair in a white sheet and adding some cut out black eyes to it - super cute ghost chair with things you have lying around the house!). He also gives you the down loadable templates right on his website for a bunch of different things, which is just handy.

Super easy to print out and create some fun.

(And no, this is not a paid advertisement, lol, just a recommendation for fun :O)

I hope they carry it around here. I am dying for my October Martha Stewart, too. I cherish them like my baby photos.

I love the Matthew Mead magazine I picked up last year but haven't seen it in any of the stores around here yet.

Where did you find yours?

I used to find Martha Stewart annoying as all get out, but in my old age I find myself in awe of her Halloweeny crafts and foods. I'll be looking for all 3 mags!

In honour of the chicken imagery in today's post, I give you my chicken imitation: buck ... buck ... buck-AY! Hmmm, it sounds better in real life than it reads on the page, but oh well.

The only thing creepier than the saying is actually seeing a chicken with its head cut off. They kinda bounce around,, running into things, for several minutes. It is a part of farm life I do not miss.

Hmm...I wonder if I could talk anyone back home into sending me some Halloween magazines? Hopefully my mom will send me some decorations this year!

I love Martha's mags too. I keep all my October magazines. I love them! Nothing gets me in the mood for Halloween better then to break out my stack of mags. in Sept.
