St. Agnes Eve
St. Agnes is the patron saint of virgins, gardeners and rape survivors.  It is traditional to perform divination by fire on this date.

John Keats wrote a rather long poem about St. Agnes Eve, which you can find here in it's entirety.
"They told her how, upon St. Agnes’ Eve,Young virgins might have visions of delight,And soft adorings from their loves receiveUpon the honeyed middle of the night,If ceremonies due they did aright;"
